The Mission

We are ‘sent’ to do and continue the mission Jesus Himself was sent on. Here (below) he tells us in detail exactly what he was sent to do:

THE MISSION is to serve as a training and resource ministry and we do this through the teaching the truth of God’s grace that transforms lives. We seek to equip and empower believers to walk within the understanding of God’s unconditional love and grace so that they can then bring direct and effective change into each of their covenantal spheres of life: personal, family, church and community.

The following video shows how open people are when we approach them on the streets with the concept of The CAVE as a ‘missional’ outpost:

It would be difficult to surpass Steve McVey’s interview as to the essence of what we as believers represent when we talk of the essentials of what we believe everyone should know about the christian life! (Scroll down to watch the interview)

THE METHOD of every major move God not only came to fruition by great intercessors but also by the result of great evangelists. Without exception, throughout Church history, there were a handful of believers who moved out from behind the four walls of the Church and began to obey the call to “go” evangelize. In 2011 there was given to me a prophetic word that confirmed He was giving me “creative and innovative” ideas to reach the lost. One such idea I had already been working on but I later perfected to what it is now. The “Mustard Seeds” (below) have been effectively utilized in many parts of the United States. A person is approached tactfully, and asked, “Do you know what this is? It’s a mustard seed. Jesus said, “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed you can remove a mountain. What’s the biggest mountain in your life right now?”

THE MANNER of approach to every human being is the same as Jesus, and re-emphasized throughout the entire New Testament: “gentleness!” “Brothers, if someone is caught in a trespass, you who are spiritual should restore him with a spirit of gentleness. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted.” (Galatians 6:1) You may be on an honorable mission and have a great message but if the ‘manner’ in which you approach a person is wrong then you sabotages all your endeavors to reach the person with your message. As Paul the Apostle cautions his spiritual son in the faith Timothy, “In gentleness correcting those who oppose him: perhaps God may give them repentance leading to a full knowledge of the truth…(2 Timothy 2:25)

THE MOMENT to launch an evangelistic team is now! As with Peter, we have may have “toiled…and caught nothing; nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net” (Luke 5:1-7) Many are awaiting, not only to be evangelized for the first time, but re-evangelized; for they have never known the true gospel of the easy yoke of Jesus. They have only known the yoke of religious bondage! (Galatians 5:1) They are not sick of Jesus or his love or forgiveness; they are sick of the hatred and bigotry they once experienced in religion. It’s time the world be told Jesus didn’t come to start a new religion, but to end religion as we know it. Its time to declare the “finished work of Christ” to this generation and to familiarize them with the true gospel-that indeed it is GOOD NEWS and not the bad news they often learned from religion!
